Stefan Jonas

PhD Student

​Stefan Jonas is a PhD candidate in the Energy Weather & AI Lab and at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Switzerland. His research focuses on deep learning for unsupervised anomaly detection in industrial fleets. Of particular research interest are applications for fault detection in wind turbines. He is currently investigating collaborative learning and generative transfer learning strategies to improve fault detection performance when only limited data is available. Stefan obtained his BSc. and MSc. degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science at the University of Bern, Switzerland.
