Workshop on AI in Weather and Climate Science

Machine learning is rapidly transforming atmospheric and climate science. This workshop brings together researchers from the Netherlands working at the intersection of atmospheric science, climate research, and machine learning, as part of AIMET-NL. The topics of this workshop include but are not limited to explainability, climate and Earth system modelling, weather forecasting, and nowcasting applications.

The workshop aims to foster exchange on recent scientific advances and connect researchers in the field. Researchers at all career stages are warmly invited to participate. We particularly encourage early-career scientists to join and present their work. The workshop program will be published here shortly.
